CDL Delivery Moffett Driver Full Time

Job Summary:
Deliver materials to customers job sites safely, securely and on time. Individuals must follow National Lumber safety policies and procedures at all times. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Operating a delivery vehicle to/from the delivery site
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
- Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Unloading and stocking building materials on jobsites as directed
- Physically handling material.
- Overseeing the safe loading of the delivery vehicle to ensure the order is accurate and that the products are of the highest quality possible
- Obeying all regulatory agency and company safety directives
- Obeying all traffic laws and weight limits
- Supervising and expediting the unloading operation at delivery sites to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of all building materials
- Responsible for site safety as it pertains to the delivery
- Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket
- Responsible for having the delivered product neatly placed and appearing as orderly and presentable as possible
Special Qualifications:
- Valid CDL – Class B w/air brake endorsement
- Must maintain FHWA/DOT driving certification
- Ability to unload, transport, and position all building materials as required
- Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts
- Ability to consistently lift and carry 115 lbs. with assistance
- Moffett- (rear mounted forklift) The ability to drive and maneuver the Moffett forklift safely.
