Seeking an honest, dependable, hardworking, experienced (TRUE OVER THE ROAD) CDL Class- A Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations for Mid Group; a Midwest based company using a tractor- dry van trailer. THIS IS NOT A BOX TRUCK JOB–you must be able to be out at least 3-4 days at a time: please do not apply if you do not meet these criteria.
Duties:
– Safely operate a Manual Transmission tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials
– Truck Driver must be based in the Atlanta, GA metro area-no exceptions!
– Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
– Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other transportation-related documents
Requirements:
– Valid Class-A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements- Proven minimum 3 years’ experience as a Truck Driver
– Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
— Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
– Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past 3 years
– – Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
– Flexibility to work long hours and travel overnight if required
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a Drug Screening-NO EXCEPTIONS! Also, must be a Non-Smoker!
